Can you fulfill this task we were asked to cope with in today’s english class?

Two worlds.
Read through the statistics about blacks in the USA. Two of the sentences ae not true. Which do you think they are? Check with your teacher.

  1. In 2005 black unemployment was 10,8 %, more then double that of white unemployment at 4,7 %.
  2. Over 70 % of whites own their homes compared with less than 50 % of blacks.
  3. A black person is about twice as likely to die from disease, accident or murder than a white person is.
  4. On average, blacks live 15 years less than whites do.
  5. Blacks are three times more likely to be jailed than whites.
  6. The financial value of a black household is 10 times less than that of a white one.
  7. About 24 % of black families live below the poverty line, three times more than the white population.
  8. Thogether Bill Gates and Larry Elision, both white, have more wealth than the combined wealth of all 36 million blacks in America
  9. In 1860, 98 % of all Blacks in America worked for white people. In 2001, 62 % of all blacks in America still work for white people.
  10. An estimated 12.6 % of all black men in their late 20s are in prision, compared to 1.7 % of white men in the same age group.
