We’ll need to rethink some things.
Often people ask me, why I have over a thousand facebookfriends – even if I don’t know them in person. Often I’m asked, why the hell I am tweeting to “the public” and everybody can read what I think, read, do or recommend. Sometimes I have to explain why I’m writing a blog (a weird thing – like a public diary). I have to talk about youtube and why the heck I’m uploading stuff on there (not talking about flickr, wikipedia, last.fm, delcious, gmail, google-wave, rss-feeds, xing). I got to illustrate the use of a personal and (somehow) interactive website. And from time to time I have the pleasure to not need to explain, why I use the Internet for more than emailing. Sometimes someone or something releases me from this annoying task. In future, I won’t hesitate to deligate this work to the youtubeclip: “Web 2.0 … The Machine is Us/ing Us“.

mal vorweg, mir gefällt das was man von dir liest. Ich würde mir mehr Jugendliche wünschen, die so “drauf” sind wie du. Wir brauchen euch :-) Web 2.0 ist DIE chance :-)
Als ich so alt war wie du (und das ist noch nicht sooo lange her), war Internet mehr oder weniger “nagelneu”, von Web 2.0 konnte aber keine Rede sein. Wir sind mit 56k – Modems gesurft, wir haben in der Schule Referate ohne Wikipedia geschrieben, das Angebot war zwar vielfältig, aber du hättest damals problemlos die Domänen google.com, twitter.com, youtube.com oder facebook.com registrieren können ;-)
Einfach eine andere Zeit.
Also – es freut mich, dass wir 2009 haben und, dass Menschen wie du die Möglichkeit haben das Web 2.0 zu nutzen. Viel Erfolg weiterhin, ich hoffe ich höre noch viel von dir :-)
